코로나19 백신이 각국의 이해관계에 휘둘리지 않고 팬데믹 극복을 위한 인류 공공재로 사용될 수 있도록 제도를 구축하고자 하는 국제적 논의가 활발합니다. 우리나라도 공평한 백신 공급 체제인 “코백스 퍼실리티(COVAX Facility)”와 “코로나19 대응 수단에 대한 접근성 가속화 체제(ACT-Accelerator)”의 중요성에 공감하며 이러한 체제를 성공시키기 위한 연대와 협력을 피력한 바 있습니다. 이 웨비나를 통해 코로나19 백신을 각 나라와 기업의 이해관계를 넘어 모두가 사용할 수 있도록 하기 위해 정부, 기업, 연구자들이 나아가야 할 방법을 모색해보고자 합니다.

There have been active ongoing global discussions on how to make COVID-19 vaccines the “people’s vaccine” in order to help the world overcome this pandemic. The Republic of Korea is a part of these global efforts through its participation in the COVAX Facility and the ACT-Accelerator. In this webinar, we will discuss issues around COVID-19 vaccines and what governments, companies and researchers can do to go beyond national and private interests and ensure access of COVID-19 vaccines for all.  Anyone interested in this subject is welcome to attend.
