[MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES]
1. Field HR Outreach Activities
- With the goal of increasing awareness of and number of applications to MSF, conceptualizes and plans FHR relevant online and offline events targeting medical and non-medical profiles
- Conducts research into various opportunities for FHR informational activities, including universities, professional communities, interest groups, etc., to forge impactful relationships going forward
- Maintains professional contact with relevant professional organizations, universities, hospitals, etc. with the intention of developing recruitment partnerships
- Supports the management of recruitment email address; determines conference attendance for recruitment opportunities; responds to questions from event attendees
- Liaise with international staff to identify presenters or spokespeople for events
- Presents at student and community events to increase future interest in a humanitarian career
- Identifies key communities to target for recruitment; analyze the needs from the operational centers to find the best profiles to be recruited
- Documents and follows up on events, including targeted response to specific profiles and general analysis
- Supports the design of print and digital marketing materials
- Communicate with active field staff to identify new avenues for recruitment or to support reactivation
2. Field HR Marketing Activities
- Works with marketing team to identify targets, design ads, and review KPIs of digital marketing initiatives
- Works with website manager to maintain and update the FHR recruitment page
- Plan and draft monthly newsletter for potential applicants in order to share relevant information and increase engagement
- Communicate with other international offices to align with marketing best practices
- Brainstorm, plan, and put into place new marketing initiatives
3. Recruitment Activities
- Along with the FHR Manager, responsible for the initial screening, validation, language assessment and reference collection for potential international staff
- Along with the FHR Manager, decides which applicants to recruit into the pool of international staff
- Support as a facilitator in the regional Welcome to MSF training
- Answer inquiries and provide individual advice to potential applicants
- Provides analysis of recruitment activities as they relate to staff recruited, long term retention, etc. Reaches out to dormant or inactive staff to re-engage them to do additional assignments.
4. Miscellaneous
- Responsible for the management of departures and returns of international staff, including collection of documents, visa arrangements, flights, medical arrangements, briefings, etc alongside colleagues from other international offices
- Organizes and participates in briefings and debriefings
- Supports the management of HR Database by updating and maintaining essential information, such as personal information, work history, availability, etc.
- Provide coverage of essential activities of FHR Manager (payroll, matching) when necessary
- Manages volunteers for ad hoc activities (campus engagement, translation, etc)
- Supports quarterly/yearly data analysis for MSF Korea and international offices
- Coordinates with APAC teams on joint training, recruitment, and other initiatives
[QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS]
1. Essential Skills
- Experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or International humanitarian field
- Fluent in English and Korean
- Presentation and facilitation skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Self-starter, independent. Service-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interested in working in a multi-cultural team; ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally and work outside normal office hours, on occasion
2. Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of MSF operations and projects; commitment to humanitarian principles and values of MSF
- Experience in marketing/digital marketing
- Understanding of labor markets
- Degree in HR, International Studies, Public Health, or other relevant field; willingness to learn and grow within the HR field
- Interest in a future working in the humanitarian field
